3.2D (R)-compare and order whole numbers up to 100,000 and represent comparisons using the symbols >, <, or =

3.4A(R)-solve with fluency one-step and two-step problems involving addition and subtraction within 1,000 using strategies based on place value, properties of operations, and the relationship between addition and subtraction

Math Homework:

  • Math Homework will be passed out on Friday and it will be due the following Thursday.

3.5A – measure, test, and record physical properties of matter, including temperature, mass, magnetism, and the ability to sink or float;

3.5B – describe and classify samples of matter as solids, liquids, and gases and demonstrate that solids have a definite shape and that liquids and gases take the shape of their container;

August 22 – 26

Math objectives:

3.4I (S)-Determine if a number is even or odd using divisibility rules

3.4A(R)-solve with fluency one-step and two-step problems involving addition and subtraction within 1,000 using strategies based on place value, properties of operations, and the relationship between addition and subtraction

Math homework:  Homework comes home on Fridays and is due the following Thursday.

Also, make sure that your student is studying the addition facts (3+8,  9+9,  2+0, etc).  We will be testing those on Thursdays.
