Math Learning Goals: Multiplication

3.4D(S)- determine the total number of objects when equally-sized groups of objects are combined or arranged in arrays up to 10 by 10

3.4E(S)- represent multiplication facts by using a variety of approaches such as repeated addition, equal-sized groups, arrays, area models, equal jumps on a number line, and skip counting

3.4F(S)- recall facts to multiply up to 10 by 10 with automaticity and recall the corresponding division facts

Math Homework:

Math Homework is due Thursday. Homework is passed out on Fridays. Study your subtraction facts.

Mad Minute (subtraction facts) is Thursday and results will be written in their planner on Friday. Our Mad Minute consists of 30 problems and students have one minute to complete as many as possible. Our goal is to get better each week.

Science LearningGoals: Forces 

3.6B- demonstrate and observe how position and motion can be changed by pushing and pulling objects to show work being done such as swings, balls, pulleys, and wagons

3.6C- observe forces such as magnetism and gravity acting on objects

Important Dates:

November 8 Picture Retakes

November 14 Big Kahuna delivery day

November 15- Party bus day for students who sold at least 15 items (Permission Slips will be sent home for students who qualify)
