• Tuesday, October 19, Begin 2nd Nine Weeks.
• Thursday, October 21-Friday, October 29, Elementary Book Fair
• Wednesday, October 27, Early Release/PLC day.

Math Learning Goals:

3.4A(R)- Solve one and two step addition and subtraction problems within 1,000

3.4C(S)- Determine the value of a collection of coins and bills

3.5A(R)- represent one and two step problems involving addition and subtraction of whole numbers to 1,000 using pictorial models, number lines, and equations

Math Homework:

• Math Homework will be passed out on Friday, October 22nd. It will be due the following Thursday, October, 28th .
• Please study your subtraction facts. We will have a Mad Minute on Thursday, October 21st. Students will have one minute to solve 30 subtraction facts. This is not for a grade. We will set goals each week to improve fact fluency.
