3.4A(R)- Solve one and two step addition and subtraction problems within 1,000

3.4 B (S) round to the nearest 10 or 100 or use compatible numbers to estimate solutions to addition and subtraction problems

3.5A(R)- represent one and two step problems involving addition and subtraction of whole numbers to 1,000 using pictorial models, number lines, and equations

Math Homework is due Thursday.  Homework is passed out on Fridays.  Study your addition facts.

Mad Minute:  There will be no mad minute this week due to our Common Assessment. We will begin subtraction next week.

Science Learning Goals: Weather

3.5A- Measure, test, and record physical properties of matter, including temperature

3.8A- Observe, measure, and record and compare day-to-day weather changes in different locations at the same time that include air temperature, wind direction and precipitation.

October 14 – Storybook Character Day form due (This form was sent home Thursday, October 3)

October 18 –Big Kahuna sales end & Imagination Fair for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades

October 21 – Student Holiday (Enjoy)

October 24 – Report cards go home

October 30 – Early Release 11:30 & Storybook Character Day

November 8 – picture retakes
